You are cordially invited to the SIMTech Annual Manufacturing Forum 2011 (AMF’11). The 6th edition, AMF’11 is happening on Thursday, 8 September 2011 at Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech). AMF’11 focuses on productivity for manufacturing through technology and R&D. Some 250 invited participants are expected to attend this complimentary event.

If you are from the manufacturing industry, AMF’11 is an ideal platform for you to know about the trends, methodologies, technologies and assistance available to begin your company’s journey to enhance productivity and engineer innovation for your company.

AMF’11 comprises an Annual Manufacturing Lecture, Technical Sessions and an exhibition. Details are provided below.

The Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), a research institute of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), is setting up the Manufacturing Productivity Technology Centre (MPTC). The first of its kind in Singapore, MPTC promotes the use of technology to enhance manufacturing productivity through improving efficiency, effectiveness and also develop high-value products and services through value creation. To achieve this, MPTC assists companies harness A*STAR technologies, tools and capabilities in automation, processes and systems for manufacturing enterprises to
gain "step-change" improvement in manufacturing productivity through SIMTech.
