We are proud to share that our CEO, Mr. Gowrishankar, delivered an outstanding knowledge-sharing session this week to a delegation of senior leaders from South Africa’s water sector.
As part of their study mission to Singapore, Directors, Regional Managers, and General Managers from the Department of Water and Sanitation, municipalities, and water agencies joined us for a specialised half-day training programme. The session aimed to provide actionable strategies and forward-thinking perspectives to support South Africa’s ongoing efforts in strengthening national water management systems.
The training focused on two core themes:
- Non-Revenue Water (NRW) strategy and performance management: Mr. Gowrishankar shared proven methodologies, practical frameworks, and data-driven approaches to help utilities reduce water loss and enhance operational efficiency.
- Smart water management, digitalisation, smart metering, and asset management: Participants explored how emerging technologies and smart infrastructure can transform network visibility, improve customer service, and build long-term system resilience.
The delegation deeply appreciated the industry expertise, real-world insights, and engaging discussions that emerged throughout the session. Their active participation sparked meaningful conversations about accelerating digital water transformation and shaping a more resilient water future.
We extend our sincere thanks to the South African delegation for their enthusiastic involvement, and to the Singapore Water Association (SWA) for inviting us to deliver this session. We also express our heartfelt appreciation to the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) for their invaluable support and partnership, which contributed significantly to the success of this engagement.
