To celebrate the five years of remarkable collaboration since our sister company Cerexio’s journey began in 2020, the Sri Lankan teams of Tigernix and Cerexio gathered to embrace the spirit of unity and progress on a memorable and fun-filled trip to Victoria Golf Resort, Digana. From January 29th to January 31st, 2025, the two teams immersed themselves in the serene beauty of Sri Lanka, setting up deeper bonds with each other and creating lasting memories.
It was an awesome experience for the teams as they had everything to enjoy these three days. Not to mention that it was a fusion of relaxation, adventure, and some exciting corporate bonding! They were mesmerised by the breathtaking view of the hotel which was surrounded by stunning greenery and crystal-clear waters. What they enjoyed the most were the playtime by the pool, evening tea time with yummy cakes and cricket sessions. Every day ended with a mouthwatering buffet dinner energised by lovely country music by a calypso band followed by a super entertaining movie night. It was a guilt-free midnight snacking during movie time.
The day two was the most amusing highlight of their stay as they had the chance to participate in an adventurous corporate training facilitated by Outbound, focusing on enhancing communication, teamwork, leadership, and strategic thinking. All the team members were excited as they had a great opportunity to take part in rifle shooting, archery training and some super-fun ice-breaking activities throughout the day that gave them space to enjoy the sunny breeze of upcountry Sri Lanka.
“We cherish the opportunity to come together outside of our usual work environment,” remarked Mr. Gowrishankar, CEO of Tigernix and Cerexio. “This trip not only strengthened our professional bonds but also allowed us to unwind and appreciate the beauty of Sri Lanka.”
The team also took time to explore the local surroundings, embarking on a hike to the world-famous Victoria Dam to witness breathtaking vistas and immerse themselves in nature’s tranquillity.
“We look forward to continuing our journey of innovation. This trip gave us a boost to work as a team, with the team and for the team!” shared a team member, reflecting on the trip.
On day three, with hearts full of memories and minds brimming with new ideas, the Tigernix and Cerexio SL teams departed Victoria Golf Resort, already planning their next reunion and the opportunities it will bring.
