SWA invited Tigernix as a distinguished delegate to Sarawak, Malaysia, for high-level meetings with the Deputy Minister for Energy and Environmental Sustainability and special guests from the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability (MEESty) and the Ministry of Utility and Telecommunication (MUT) from April 13–15, 2025. During this event, Tigernix CEO Mr. Gowrishankar engaged with experts to explore how Tigernix’s advanced water technology can support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs), particularly through digital transformation and sustainable practices in the water sector.
In collaboration with the Malaysian Water Association (MWA) and other key stakeholders, the delegation proposed a comprehensive technology roadmap for water digitisation and innovative green initiatives, aiming to usher Sarawak’s water system into the digital era. This aligns with Malaysia’s Water Sector Transformation 2040 (WST 2040) agenda, which emphasises digitalisation, data-driven decision-making, and the adoption of Industry 4.0 (IR 4.0) technologies to enhance water security, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
The discussions highlighted the multifaceted value of water—not only as a resource for consumption but also as a driver for clean energy, industrial growth, and economic development. The collaboration seeks to leverage smart technologies such as AI-driven analytics, IoT, and integrated data platforms to optimise water management, reduce losses, and support climate resilience. These efforts are expected to contribute to Malaysia’s ambition of becoming a regional water hub and to set benchmarks for digital water transformation in the region.
Tigernix and its partners look forward to continuing this collaboration, aiming to transform Malaysia’s water networks with cutting-edge Industry 4.0 solutions and to advance the nation’s progress toward sustainable, resilient, and innovative water management.’ Learn more about this event by connecting with us at [email protected].
