A delegation of senior leaders from South Africa’s water sector will soon arrive in Singapore on the 27th of November, 2025 for a specialised half-day knowledge-sharing and training programme led by our CEO, Mr. Gowrishankar. The upcoming session will form a key part of their study mission aimed at strengthening national water management capabilities through international collaboration.
The delegation—comprising Directors, Regional Managers, and General Managers from the Department of Water and Sanitation, municipalities, and water agencies—will engage in a focused programme designed to offer actionable strategies and forward-looking insights for improving South Africa’s water systems.
The training will cover two central themes:
1. Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Strategy and Performance Management
Mr. Gowrishankar will present proven methodologies, practical frameworks, and data-driven approaches that utilities can apply to reduce water loss and enhance operational efficiency. Participants will gain clarity on best practices that support measurable, sustainable improvements.
2. Smart Water Management and Digital Transformation
Delegates will explore emerging technologies in digitalisation, smart metering, and asset management. The session will highlight how smart infrastructure can improve network visibility, elevate customer service, and build long-term resilience in water systems.
The programme is expected to spark engaging discussions on accelerating digital transformation across the water sector and shaping a more future-ready, resilient water landscape.
We anticipate meaningful knowledge exchange and look forward to hosting the South African delegation. We extend our appreciation to the Singapore Water Association (SWA) for the invitation to conduct this session and to the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) for their ongoing support and partnership.
Our team is excited for the upcoming session, and we congratulate our CEO, Mr. Gowrishankar, in advance for what promises to be another impactful contribution to global water sector collaboration.
